Features
A Recognizable Reference. The three-point light pattern helps distinguish the vehicle ahead when viewed with compatible night vision equipment. Designed as an IR identification light, the Follow-Me complements forward illumination rather than replacing a driving-light beam.
Flexible Mounting. The drill-mount design secures the light through a mounting surface. A removable inner jam nut accommodates thicker material, while an external gasket seals at the mounting location. Plan the position and wiring route before drilling.
Controlled Output. Select high or low IR output to suit the viewing conditions, with dimming available for further adjustment. Matching the output to the scene helps keep the identification pattern useful through your night vision equipment.
Choose Your Wavelength. 850nm produces a more noticeable faint red glow at the emitter, while 940nm offers a lower visible signature. Night vision devices respond differently to each wavelength, so select the wavelength supported by your equipment rather than choosing by wavelength alone.
Built for Your Setup. The light operates on 9-16V systems and uses a Deutsch DT 3-Pin connection. Two lights supplied in this package.
Proven Reliability. Developed through military field testing, this purpose-built IR lighting platform brings proven application experience to your night vision setup. Made in USA with Global Materials. An aluminum housing and IP67 intrusion protection support use in exposed vehicle-mounted locations.
Infrared Safety. Infrared output may not be visible to the naked eye. Do not look directly into an operating infrared light.
Experience. For more than 20 years, Diode Dynamics has developed high-performance lighting solutions for automotive enthusiasts, beginning in the rally community where dependable lighting is essential. Today, our products are engineered, tested, and assembled by our team in the United States, giving us direct control over performance, quality, and reliability. From a dedicated night vision setup to a versatile auxiliary lighting system, you can count on Diode Dynamics for purpose-built lighting.
